Self-doubt

Swinging between confidence and self doubt
wondering where I am heading
whether all of it is worth it
or is it an illusion I’m treading

Feeling emptiness at times
and then going back to where it all began
It may not be worth anything
but it holds a unique power, a strength

To bring happiness and hope to me
and possibly someone else too
Sometimes, it is all that matters
feels like enough to continue

So I let it slide
every moment of self doubt
and flickering pride
And I continue to strive
to find a correct balance
a middle ground
A place where I can lose myself
not to be found
but to be read
not just as a glittering visual
but as a hauntingly melodious sound

        1. I stopped posting because I thought only 5-6 people were reading and the efforts to post again were not worth it.
          I have a strong feeling that Manan fans have moved on. Not all. But a lot of them. Or maybe, my readers have moved on 😃
          Whatever it is, I’ll start posting again if there are enough people reading.
