Hello, dear lovely people,
I hope all of you are doing well. I pray for the health, safety, and well being of you and your families.
We are going through tough times and the only way we can sail through these days is by maintaining patience, hope, and faith in God. Everything will be fine in a few weeks. Just keep praying for everyone you know and for the world, on the whole.
It has been some time since I wrote an informal post like this one. The lockdown period has been different for me as it has been for all of us. Everyone has been going through a different struggle during this time. Different – but not difficult – as I believe that I am in a comfortable position as compared to what many others are going through.
For me, the lockdown period has been all about – more work, physically and mentally. My online consultations take up my mornings and evenings. Between them, I try to fit in cooking and other household chores. My husband works with the Government of India and he is in a job that is counted as emergency & essential services. So he is stuck out of town, on duty, and hasn’t been home since March 18th. He is safe, but away. So, here I am, taking care of home and kids, apart from clinic work that has shifted to the laptop.
On the whole, life is fine. Hectic and tiring. But nothing to complain, actually. The saving grace is that there are no time constraints, schedules to follow, or pressure of routine. No stress. No rush.
My prayers for the people worst hit by this phase – daily wagers, small businesses, people who are affected by Covid-19, and their family members. What they are going through is the real difficult phase and I hope things ease up for them, soon.
I am trying to squeeze in my writing in between. But I don’t take stress to do it. Writing has always been my stress-buster and I wish to keep it that way. The day it starts feeling like a pressure, it will lose it’s charm and will start appearing like a job. I don’t want that. So, I write and post whenever I feel like. But I understand that it becomes torture for people waiting for an update. To wait every day and not getting an update is frustrating. So, I decided to post a schedule regarding the updates, my posts, etc.
Here it goes –
Fridays – My Corner – My Blog post
Saturdays – Beyond Every Border
I will try to make all posts around 7 – 8 pm, IST. So, basically, it’s the weekend that I’ve decided so that we don’t forget π
This friday on My Corner – blog, I will tell you about the fate of all of my stories – What happens to Spark & Spice, Fire & Ice, Tangles & Ties…where you can read them… plus, all that is currently happening with The Masquerade… and more…
Also, I completed T & T on 26th March. It will be one month to its completion on 26th, i.e. 26th April. All T & T fans have read it by now. If you haven’t please finish reading it as I will take it down on 26th April. My past experiences have been disappointing and leaving a completed story online makes no sense.
Thank you for everything.
Take care.
Lots of love,
M.

Somewhat everybody’s schedule is same, clock the round. All are coping with this current situation. Thank God that we are in better space than others. Can’t imagin one day without food and shelter. How they all must be coping and definitely losing their sensibility after 21 days lockdown and now it’s extended. Only wish to God save all from this situation.
I feel don’t pressure yourself about updates. Let them come whenever you are free from stress and have time.
Take care of your family when your husband is not around.

God bless your husband who is serving our nation right now. And god bless to all such families of frontline service providers.
I would like to say, Take care of yourself, specially your kids and god bless your husband. I’m sure people like him are such a brave hearts.
I am also staying alone with my younger sister. My mother is at maternal parents home and dad is in hometown. Being an elder one i have to take the responsibility of food, grocery and veggies. Also I have to cook. Younger one handles other chores. Everything is properly manged by the government in our city but when it comes to going out for veggies that’s what not safe. Although all precautions are being taken care of but still there this fear. We recently came to know that we have positive case near our sector. My parents keep calling and guiding us and giving us the same instructions everyday. They are trying to manage necessary things for us from there only.
Well we are still safe and protected but many people those who survive on their daily earned wages are in mess. Our helper back at home have three kids. Her husband doesn’t work and her son earns daily. No one is ready paying her now as she is not coming for work. We treat her like our family member as she has been like a second mother to me and my sis when my mother would be out for work for months. It felt terrible to hear her condition. As soon as my father came to know about her, he helped her with all the basic ration and necessary things. She was so thankful for everything. She is such a strong human being….after all she has faced in her life……people like her lost their faith in humanity when they meet such terrible people who likes to keep their accounts full of money and not a single penny for the people in need. I just pray to god for helping them survive this difficult times.
Talking about your writing,,,,yes ….please write only when you want to..not because we pester you for giving us updates…hahahaha……we are always going for it no matter what. Even i write so i totally understand your point of view….
And you are doing a great job. I am sure it will be hectic for you but i also know you manage everything well.
“stay blessed….lot’s of love… A tight hug from my side!”
You are a strong girl Tanvie. Managing yourself and your little sister in the absence of parents is a big, big achievement and I’m so proud of you.
All of us are doing our best to help people in need. I hope things get better for people like your helper lady. My prayers for them.
And you, always stay this strong and positive. You’ll go places.
God bless you. Stay safe.
Take care you too Dii. Don’t take work pressure more. Stay safe and happy. Will be waiting next Friday blog and stories. Love you β£οΈ
Love you too, dear! Stay safe.
everyone around me are doing well di…i wish the same for your family too….i am also working in emergency sector but safe till now…using this time wisely for preparing for rbi mains which is scheduled god knows when..hehe..all in all good going
I’m glad that you are safe and working for people. Also proud that you are using this time constructively and preparing for exams. We should never let go of our goals… they are the only ones loyal to us…
Wish you all the very best. Stay safe.
A big THANKYOU to you to your husband , because of people like you both we are safe in our homes , and entertained. This i think answers my curiosity of your character being engaged in medical and armed forces profession. Take care
Thanks to each and every person who is following protocol to keep others safe. We are all contributing in some way or the other.
I am not involved in direct frontline care. of covid 19 patients. But I am counselling and consulting patients from home and educating all those who have doubts.
Oh god it must be so hard to manage alone! Every small things like going out to buy grocery to taking care of ur kids. It is so tough. Take care di and yes, please don’t stress out to update coz of our nagging! Take ur time, take care of u and ur family. Please update when u have time. No worries at all. We will waitβ€ BEB fan in me wants u to focus on BEB now ππ but am seeing and reading comments of ppl who are so interested in another story, it’s a good decision that u want to fulfill their wish and u have planned to update that as well. PS: I am going to read that story tooππ it’s just BEB is close to my heart and want to read on regular basis as manasvi and anshman are spending time together.
Regular basis means as per the schedule only, it’s just two updates of BEB in a week, instead of Till eternity hehehe π€π not a problem ππ
Haha… very smart π
Things are not that hard if you plan properly. For instance, I don’t go out to buy anything as I can’t leave my kids alone at home and taking them out is not an option. So we bought things that we thought that we would need for 2-3 weeks and now managing as it is… like we have turned almost vegans as there is no one to bring milk, or dairy products… so now, we know how vegans manage…
You learn to adjust and manage…
Though we have vendors in our colony for veggies and home delivery of veggies is functional… but i am being
cautious and not ordering anything for now.
I am glad to hear that you are planning and managing it well. We should avoid going out as much as possible.
Ri8 Di
U too be safe
Thank you Sangeeta. You too take care π
