As I posted yesterday, life is getting a bit hectic and mostly chaotic at my end.
My area is in the red zone of Covid-19 and my own society is in containment area with a curfew being monitored by 2 policemen since there was one Covid-19 positive case in my lane. We are safe and all is well. But that means, no household help, neither for cooking nor for cleaning and I have no staff.
Due to lockdown and coronavirus spread, my clinics are shut. Last year, when I was going through a tough phase, it included financial losses and one clinic had to be closed. Now, another clinic is closed too.
For once, I didn’t know what to do. But then, my patients began to insist on consultations, and I had to shift my entire work to the internet. Online consultations need different management, set-up, payment procedure, and safety measures. Previously, it was started as Whatsapp consultations to follow-up patients on a small scale. But now, I had to take it to the web.
Then, my book ‘The Masquerade’ was supposed to release in April. But it got delayed due to lockdown. Publishers, printers, Amazon delivery, all were closed. Now that the publishers are working from home, there were few glitches that I spotted right before it went into the print. Now, I have to read it word by word, 412 pages, 1,24,000 words to ensure that such mistakes are rectified.
Also, a lot of things were happening on the personal front. There have been emotional ups and downs. Kids need to be given time, made to study & entertained, while they are at home for so long.
Things have been piling up on me from every possible side.
Writing is my only respite from this chaos. And so I continue to write, in as much time that I get. As it distracts me, it keeps me happy, and it is my escape mechanism. But I don’t want to rush my stories or do away with them ‘somehow’… I love them and I love writing them and that is why you like them too. I can’t do any injustice to them.
Give me one week.
I will fix my clinic websites’ work, streamline consultations, fix ‘The Masquerade’, and finish most of the extra work. I will start posting on 1st June 2020 with a new schedule – Regular, definitely.
In the meantime, everyday morning, I will post 2-3 chapters of Fire and Ice, on my manan fics blog, as that story is already written. And I don’t have to write new chapters.
I know you will understand 😅💖
Like you always do… See you next week, with Beyond Every Border on June 1st and then Love, Lies, Etc. next, probably on June 3rd.
Stay safe. Take all precautions.
Take care. Love you all. 💕💕
PS – I haven’t replied to a LOT of Insta messages, wattpad inbox msgs, personal messages on different blogs, emails etc… I couldn’t. I’m sorry. I didn’t have the time to reply to each. But rest assured. I read all of them.
I love you all 🤗🤗🤗
