Hey everyone,

This post is just a random post in ‘my corner’…
mainly because I was missing you guys πŸ™‚

It has been long since I actually wrote a personal post which was not an update. Every time, when I felt like writing a post, some, or the other issue arose and it got delayed.
Sometimes, I try to reply to comments on the updates and sometimes, I am not able to do so. And I miss that touch.

As I wrote last time, that I was doing some courses. Then, I was facing some issues at the professional front, some other projects kept piling on, currently kids have exams, the clinic is regular routine. More things keep adding on to these…

But then, such is life! Isn’t it?
Things will never get simpler. We will have to squeeze out some time from our schedules for things we love to do πŸ™‚

So, let’s catch up today! I would love to hear from you all… talk to you…listen to you…
I hope to share how life has been to us in the past few months. What’s going on currently. What are we doing these days…

I’ll start with me… Other than kids’ exams… things that take up my time are –

~ I’m at the designing stage of my upcoming novel – The Masquerade. ie. Cover design, internal design, formatting etc. As soon as it is decided, I will share it with you.

~ I’m also planning a few basic steps into the promotion of the book, to spread the word about it.
I don’t know how I will do it as it is a huge task and the internet gives a plethora of information. So, right now, I am only collecting information. Let’s hope it goes well.

~ I’ve given a new look to the blog… yeah…yeah… yet again πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
trying to make it easier to navigate for all… do let me know if you are still facing issues.

What about you guys?! Tell me how you are and I really, really hope all is well with you.

Take care.
Stay blessed. Love you all

…………………………..

I will try my best to be with you guys on Fridays πŸ˜€Β

        Dear Mansi,

One thing that I have learnt in life and has always paid me back is that when you are stuck in a bad phase and can’t do anything to improve it, then make it beautiful and enjoy as much as you can. Challenge yourself to do it and you will begin loving it.
Being in a foreign country alone has it’s perks – learn new languages, explore cultures, learn and know yourself – what you love to do the most and what you are as a personality – you will come out with a precious degree and so much richness in your personality that you will thank God for this phase of life.
Trust me, happiness, sadness, loneliness aer all state of mind. They are inside us and we can deal with them.
And like you said, you will manage everything and will be successful. I know you will do it.
        take care.
        Lots of love.

        Hey Lavina,
Please don’t apologise for not commenting. If any of you have noticed, I never ever ask people to read, like or comment. Life is hectic and I understand that everyone is busy. It’s more than enough for me that you squeeze out time to read my work. It’s an honour for me.

Hi manita di, with my board exams just around the corner all I do is study and sleep (which is alotttt by the wayπŸ˜‚). It has been so overwhelming with the study stress and the chaos at home..I have migraine and all the chaos just triggers it more and then I am not able to study. As you are already a doctor so uk the pressure there is(I am preparing for becoming a clinical psychologist), can you help me with how should I be more focused, think less about stuff and dedicate all my time to studies without wasting it in sleeping for hours and phone.

      • Author GravatarAuthor Gravatar

I just thought you would understand so I shared..

      • Author GravatarAuthor Gravatar

        I understand it, Isha.

The pressure of studies and the chaos around leading to migraine and stress. Actually, I have migraine too. Sometimes, the headache becomes too much that I am not able to do anything. At that time, I try not to stress out much.
The only way I stay motivated and focused is that I write down my goals and divide them into time-bound targets. The constant challenge to my own self doesn’t let me waste time and keeps me consistent.

don’t worry. such problems come to every one. How we deal with it, defines our success. Wish you all the best, dear!

    • Author GravatarAuthor Gravatar

Just busy with work and life, so catching up can be hard but you have to make it work sometimes, but I love reading as you know! Well I’m glad you’re focusing on your book and can’t wait to read it.

      😚

    • Author GravatarAuthor Gravatar

Well, I am scared and at a situation in life (I am just 18πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ look at me talking about life) where I NEED to decide to decide what is the thing I want to do in life because right now is nowhere being purposeful for even myself. The confusion sucks, specially when I look at people of my age or even younger than me knowing exactly what they want to do in response to me sitting at home trying to do something, anything to figure things out constantly with preparing for an exam that I am not even sure of. I like doing it but is it enough to make a career out it? Passion isn’t an emotion that has been felt by me for anything and I don’t want to be confined at a place that I might regret and not be able to come out of. Nothing helps. Neither form fillings nor an advice by a councillor, I just can’t feel it.

Do you think anything can help?

      • Author GravatarAuthor Gravatar

First of all, being confused and not feeling motivated about future or life is totally normal and no need to stress out. Accept the situation. Okay, you don’t feel passionate. Maybe you are not driven as something doesn’t strike you.
No need to rush. No need to feel guilty.

Now, it down with a diary and paper, and think how would you want your life after say 15-20 years, at the age of your parents. What do you want yourself to do at that time? How would you love to retire?

And then plan the present based on your likes, dislikes, choices you have, money you want to earn, places you want to visit in this life, be known as what… that will give you a sense of direction…

.. today Just went through my first ever interview for job and passed it with flying colors after many rounds….still can’t believe. Finally starting to work. It wasn’t something I planned. My main aim was to crack MBA entrance.as i have been preparing for it since last one and a half year though couldn’t score well, but yes, did got qualified for some colleges but i wanted to take one more chance to go for the best ones..I am deciding to take it this year as well.but I’m worried that my new job might affect my studies but it is important too as I have already given my extra years after graduation to this preparation only. I feel I need a change and doing a job would be one great experience. I hope i am right about the way I have chosen.

di…I wanted to watch that teaser of twisted minds that you posted on the blog but i couldn’t play it. did you delete it?

      • Author GravatarAuthor Gravatar

        Dear Tanvie,
This dilemma of ‘should I give more years to studies’ or ‘begin earning’ is a common problem and an issue that raises a forever confusion. I hope you have listened to your heart or your gut instinct while making the choice.
Whatever you choose, try to do your best and continue preparing for exams. Maybe, right before exams, you can take a planned leave of a month or two.
        Wish you all the best.
And Congratulations for clearing the interview and getting a job, You are a big girl now πŸ˜€

You can watch the teaser here on my YT channel ( Manita V ) made an year ago – https://youtu.be/Uh_zCubXkXQ

The teaser is very small 0.28 sec… it is nothing much… Hopefully I will post another teaser soon and trailer next friday ie 14th – Valentine’s Day

Lastly I wish everything will be awesome from your side as well. Miss you Di. ❣
