Hello everyone,

How are you all doing? I know the situation is tough right now and we are all in almost a state of lockdown. I just came here to tell you all that please don’t panic. We will get through this.

Coronavirus is tough. But we are tougher.

Just be patient. Be vigilant. And stay safe. If possible – quarantine. If not – please follow all safety guidelines by WHO. We will survive!!

In case, you feel worried, you can talk to me. I came here to tell you that ‘I’m here’…to listen and alleviate your anxiety.

I have quarantined my family and myself as my clinic was seeing mostly non-emergency cases and they can wait for 2-3 weeks. It is important for all of us. Hats off to all those doctors who are dealing directly with coronavirus infected patients. My prayers are with them. And everyone who is working hard to keep us safe.

Social media is scary and you cannot read more news without getting panicky. I have decided to utilise this quarantined life to finish my stories and be here with you.

I will start posting Beyond Every Border tomorrow. And update Tangles & Ties too. For me – writing, editing and posting stories – is the only way to stay sane and get over every tough phase.

Let me know how you are coping up.

Prayers and positivity have immense power. Never lose them in any case.
May God be with all of us!

Lots of love

M.

Glad to know that you are fine dii. Here in TN, there only 5 cases reported till now and hopefully no more. But the govt has taken precautionary measures and closed everything here. I just hope this phase shall pass soon and we get to other side of the this stronger.

I hope and pray for the same. Still, keep all precautions for next two weeks. We don’t know about subclinical infection in the community.
It’s good that everything is shut.

Yes clinic is closed. Dad’s shop is closed. Coping up by Cooking, cleaning, reading, trying to write thesis article.
And yes waiting for your updates.
But as is said this too shall pass.
Most important thing is to don’t panic and just stay safe.

      Hi Manita,
Hope you and your family are doing well and being safe indoors from what is going on around the world.. I live in Boston and we have been working from home for past 2 weeks. it can get a little frustrating and tiring to be home all the time..physical health is important but so is mental health so keep yourself occupied with some activities to distract you from what’s going on outside the walls..I have been cooking a lot more and practicing yoga to keep myself calm..also a humble request to people around..please don’t panic and pile up too many food items from the grocery stores..basic necessities like water and milk are going out of stock because few people are over buying and it’s not available for the others..follow the 5 guidelines of WHO and we will definitely beat it 😄

      Stay safe everybody 🥰

That’s very well said Ruchi. We don’t need panic buying because it is okay to stay safe for 2-3 weeks. That should be enough.
It is more important to follow the WHO guidelines and stay safe, stay indoors.
Great that you are keeping yourself occupied.
I’m doing the same as everyone – cleaning the house, cooking and yoga. Not watching anything on tv or web, but I will start writing today as my editing work is completed.

News are more panicky than actual situation. We all are at home except my brother. I am very much scared for him. His company is not allowing him to work from home yet. I am so tensed about him but can’t do anything. Just doing prayers for him. I hope we’ll survive.

      Hey dii,
Glad you and your family is doing fine:)
The situation is really scary dii..like till yesterday or something there weren’t any cases in Gujarat now all of a sudden it came to 7-8 and in my city 3-4 are there that too nearby my area..so now for me this has became more scary than earlier😐 though we all take care of everything that have been told but still..and people are panicking more than before bcz the number is crazily increasing..and so many people doesn’t even care what is happening in world..they don’t wear mask and don’t even cover themselves..they are roaming here and there like nothing has happened i mean 3-4 cases have come suddenly so people should learn something from it but no🤦🏻‍♀️
In D-mart people go shopping like anything..and so many people were there..though the authorities did take care of things like that machine which checks temperature also they give sanitiser so it’s good..but people were so crazy i mean you can do shopping but in limit nothing is gonna close just like that man..but no they have to go even in this situation🙄and it’s scaring us even more!and the temperature is also weird like yesterday it was so hot now today again it’s little cold in night🤦🏻‍♀️
I just hope we can get through this and people take care of things so that they and bcz of them other people won’t suffer..

It’s the same everywhere dear. All of us can only take precautions and prepare ourselves for an impending lockdown.
Prayers and positivity have immense power. Do that too!
may we all sail through it.

Yes, it has been a tough time.
But we will sail through. All we need to do is keep a sane mind, follow all guidelines, not ignore the warning signs and co-operate with doctors and healthcare officers.
Most of all – We should not panic!
