Good evening, dear lovely people!
I hope all of you and your families are doing well.
This pandemic is proving to be the toughest test of our lifetime. A ruthless test of resilience, patience, willpower, and faith.
This year on the whole is proving to be the most difficult of all. It’s been four months since 2020 began and things are simply worsening. I see so much pain and suffering around us that it is unbelievable.
Almost everyone is suffering in some way or the other. The entire human race is in pain. Lacs of people have lost their lives. Families are destroyed. They lost their loved ones and didn’t even get to say goodbyes. Health workers, doctors have lost lives. Migrants, labourers, small businessmen have lost their livelihood and dignity. On a personal level, I have lost a lot too. Someday, I will share with you.
My parents say that when going gets tough, God Almighty is reminding us of His presence and telling us that nothing is really in our control. At this time, you should keep your belief strong and firm.
It’s time to use the power of prayers, gratitude and faith in the Super Power to have him show mercy to the world.
Today, I decide to dedicate next 40 days of this year towards a conscious, constant gratitude, prayers, positivity, calmness, and hope.
May the world heal. May humanity rise above all petty fights. May we survive every blow to our sanctity and strength. May we rise above storms like a tree with strong roots.
Join this chain by posting below one positive quote that you have always loved. There are many that I love. But I’m posting one –
“Positivity doesn’t mean that everything will eventually be fine. Positivity means that no matter what happens with us, good or bad, we will manage. We will be fine.”
I wish to read yours and expand this chain of positivity.
Love you all
Stay blessed. Stay safe.
M.

You know I wrote so much last night but I mistakenly got deleted.
I know you won’t be waiting for my response but still I wanted to share. How the hope that things are going to be better keeps me going every little moment since the lockdown. As staying alone in a city in lockdown period is never a good idea. But it makes you understand the importance of little things in life the food, the work, the me time, the people who care about you.
Few days before I was down to stay alone nobody is there for me. But to keep my positive attitude alive I started to remind myself how other people are suffering more than me… For instance one of friend is juggling between hospital to home or say work from home to attend her mother’s chemo treatment.
A colleague with a pregnant wife who has already complications and now this lockdown stress.
My brother who is hoping the lockdown ends sooner so that he can sale his goods. He has a clothing store.
And lastly the lakhs of migrants.. This virus has already taken half of their lives. Going to natives also not a solution as how they will be able to survive without money.
Such a heartbreaking news of two iconic actors death but nobody could a pay a visit to them as solidarity. I remember I always liked irrfan khan ‘s this song “maine dil se kaha dhund Lana khushi… Nasamajh laya gum to ye gum hi sahi…” so much meaningful ππ
Death is inevitable. You need live in the moment.
Keep your mantra simple ” don’t keep high expectations, take it easy one day at a time.”
When going gets tough.. The tough gets going. πΉβ€οΈ
Dear Lopa,
Always remember –
1. I always wait for responses from people I regularly interact with. You all are like a family and I don’t say that – aise hi… So, don’t think I don’t wait for responses.
I may not get time to reply as I am overloaded with work, mails, messages, comments, household work, personal problems – the list is endless… so I may not reply but I read all responses and it makes me so happy.
2. All of us are together in this. You are right. There are so many more suffering and all of us need prayers. We all are together in this. Stay strong. This lockdown will make you so strong and you will learn to make peace with being alone that you will never be scared to live alone, ever.
PS – Whatever you wrote was not deleted. I read it here and I can see it. It happened with Saumya too. She had to post thrice thinkiing it got deleted.
Lovely positive notes from everyone. Thanks Manita for giving us something good to feel in these times. For me what i believe in is:
These troubled times is just like a catapult, we are all pulled back. For many stretching us to life’s maximum struggles, but dont worry, dont snap, hang on there with the belief that this is just a passing phase and life will catapult us to much greater heights than we would have ever imagined.
Beautiful message.
I agree with everything you said, 2020 has gone down in history we are learning so much from it and will continue to learn from what this year has shown us! Exactly what you said it has most defo been the most toughest year for the human race the world, I know personally many healthcare workers who have battled and did not come out the other side and it breaks my heart thinking about their loved ones and the fact that they have given the ultimate sacrifice for us, and personally not being their with my loved ones who have also passed it’s tough but we have to all be positive and come out of this stronger and I now we all will β€
I have so many quotes that I love but I found two that I actually read a few days ago and it has stuck in my head!
Albert Einstein
Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
William James
It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.
STAY SAFE EVERYONE PLEASE ππ
Well I believe in this – βWhatever happens is for good, whether we see it now or later.β So, keep positive attitude towards things, find a reason to smile evryday
“Keep looking upβ¦ thatβs the secret of life.”
There is so much stress but safety is above all. So stay home stay safe. Keep praying this will end soon.
Hello Di…2020 has just shattered and tore us apart. It has evoked so much of fear, restlessness and anxiety and took a toll on our sanity. There is so much of negativity everywhere, wherever we go, we see people in fear and anxiety, losing their loved ones. There is so much of uncertainty .But we do not have a choice here,we just have to be positive and hopeful about the future.Personally, I start thinking about the reasons of this pandemic situation all over the world.I think the nature wants us to retrospect on our past actions and thoughts and its just shaking us…maybe it wants us to change our perspective on certain things.I dont know….Its a harsh time for all of us.To keep myself sane,i keep myself busy, immersing myself in learning things, reading and lots of sleeping.I make sure i pray to God before i sleep for each and everyone of us.At this moment, I just remebered a couplet my father used to quote:
tundi-e-baad-e-muαΈ³halif se na ghabra ai uqaab
ye to chalti hai tujhe unchaa udaane ke liye
-Syed Sadiq Hussain
English translaton is:do not be scared of the fast moving wind which blows in the opposite direction O eagle,
they are just blowing so that you reach to greater heights
So lets hope and pray for a better future.Lets be calm and be positive as we dont have any choice right now.
Listen to the music of silence while the chaos is on break.
Once you choose hope, anything is possible π
My Positive Quote : Whatever you do, wherever you are placed believe that God has put you there for that work π
There were so many emotions running in my mind Manita currently. Because staying alone and this lockdown is a tough thing which I am facing currently.
Two three days before I was little down with the daily struggle.. Than I thought about my other friends what they are facing in this situation – a friend is juggling between hospital to work from home due to his mother’s chemo. He just lost his dad two months before. Still he’s so positive.
A colleague with his pregnant wife (trust me nowadays many couples don’t like to see 24×7 each other. They want space. He needs to ensure her health.
My brother who is sitting idly at home hoping that lockdown get over so that he can open his shop again.
And lastly about the thousands migrants.. We can’t even imagine their states. Even though government allowed them to go home, still there is a bigger problem is how they will survive without money.
So thinking about them made me felt I am in a far better state than them.
From last two days I learnt death is inevitable. Just live life to the fullest.
” Maine dil se kaha dhund Lana khushi… Nasamajh laya gum to ye gum hi sahi…” such a beautiful song.
Hi di..yes just messaged you on ig and came to check the blog..yes feeling very low..lives are devastated n our lifestyle also taken a topsy turvy situation…feeling so low and bad for all of them suffering..hope the world heals soon…positive note on this stage this too shall pass.. hopefully soon… stay safe and healthy all of you..loads of good things should happen to all of us and let the world heal soon..
First of all you this kind of post give me so much positivity and strength. I feel confident after reading that no matter what one day everything is going to be good. I don’t remember any positive and so right now but what keeps me moving in tough time like this is my Mumma’s Saying –
“She says Krishna is watching us and he doesn’t give pain without reason. When happy time doesn’t last for long so how can sad and tough time can stay for longer? Have patience and trust in supreme power Krishna…he is going to make everything fine soon. Bura time hai pyaar aur shanti se gujar Jane do”
i dont remember any positive quotes but know one thing that ” no one is greater than nature..if she gets hurt you have to bear the consequence ” just pray for the safety of all of us…all together…we will get through this
“It’s not over till it’s over” ~ MaNan, Our Hope for a better tomorrow will eventually happen someday π
MaNan & your stories teaches us many things, most importantly to stay positive, to keep our hopes alive, to never give up, to stand up and fight π we will also fight this and win π
Stay safe π Take care π
When you get what you want, thatβs Godβs direction. When you donβt get what you want, thatβs Godβs protection.
”Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines” this quote inspires me the most by Robert Schuller.
Stay safe diii
“Fear not , even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise”.
Take care π
You’re so right di! Being positive is the way forward. It’s been a while since I last visited your blog, things happened. But here I am and here is my positive quote.
“We’re all on a jagged graph. Up a bit. Down a bit. That’s life.”
This is by Sophie Kinsella. I used to read her novels until a few years back, so yeah.
I hope you are well π

Take care. Be safe.
Well for me there are many quotes which I love which inspires me.
βLook for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.β
True ππ
Hi di… hope all these troubles ends soon. Seems like everyone is dealing with one thing or another and I can just hope and pray that it gets well very soon.
The quote that always keeps me strong and believe that everything happens for a reason and the best is yet to follow was once shared by my parents (it wasnβt their own ) when I was having a real tough time.
β
I asked God,”Why are you taking me through troubled waters?” He replied,”Because your enemies can’t swim.”

Lovely. Stay safe π€π€
U too di π€
Thank you !!!!ππππππ(for BEB)

I wish I could skip 2020. Covid-19 , deaths of two great actors… everyday I am hearing a depressing news. But we can’t do anything rather than praying to God to pass this phase quickly.
Thank you for deciding to update BEB twice a week. I can’t wait to read further.
My positive quote:
When you lose hope, when things become unbearable and you decided to give up , just think once why you decided to start the thing.
