I hope all of you are doing fine in your respective fields, studies, work and personal life.
For a long time, I had put a lot of things on hold for Spark & Spice. The book demanded from my life more than what I had planned for it. No regrets. No complaints. Every book and every creation takes its own time and writes its own destiny, that is what I have always believed in. So, last year of my life, along with everything routine, was dedicated to Spark & Spice.
Of course, I completed Beyond Every Border in between, and that is an accomplishment I believe. But after that, I completely stopped writing anything new and edited and practically rewrote Spark & Spice, proof-read it and made a LOT of mistakes. Tried my best to correct them too. But if they still pop-up, kindly ignore and forgive my mistakes, in case you see them in the book, and do mail me about them so that I can correct them in future.
The way I gave break to new writing, I reduced time spent on some other activities like watching TV, reading etc and devoted all the time to the book. And as the release date approached and I messed up a few things, my sleep-wake routine, diet, and exercise schedule took a toll and my cheat days converted them to cheat months.
It’s a mixed feeling. On one end, I was in guilt for not following my schedules, exercise etc. On the other, Spark & Spice kept getting delayed.
So, I put every single thing on hold and just finished the book. Got it released. And Whoaaa!!! What a response we have 💃🔥
I’m so so so grateful to God Almighty for enabling me to work for my dreams 🙏🙏 And towards all of you for believing in me, standing by me through thick and thin, and reading my work. Your love cannot be reciprocated in words 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you. Love you all. May God bless you 💖💖💖
Since, a big task is completed, I’m planning to get back to the groove by a few tasks that I have planned and will try to do them as frequently as possible by the end of this year. They are –
~ Follow a proper sleep-wake schedule. Rise early and sleep well.
~ Exercise and meditate everyday.
~ Create something everyday – A piece of poetry, edit, video and write everyday, no matter how little. I’ll try to update the blog as frequently as I can.
~ Read everyday.
I really hope I can do some of it. And really really hope, everyday means at least thrice a week, but not less 😀 Anybody who wants to join me in this challenge is more than welcome to do so. You can update your progress on this blog.
Looking forward to seeing more of you, reading your thoughts, hoping to finish this challenge so that we know how to take on more challenges in 2022.
Have you planned something for you in 2022? Let me know if you have, in the comment box.
Lots of love.
PS – Meanwhile, I hope you are reading the Short Stories that I am posting on the blog.

Where Can We Read Beyond Every Border? Can you please provide the link?
I wish I could also promise myself to do all these things, except for reading something everyday. It has become a habit now and I can’t fall asleep if I don’t read anything, be it one small chapter even. But working out and others, I quit it at the first chance of anything. Although I have been following a strict schedule for the last four months and have lost a lot of weight.
But it’s been two weeks I am irregular with my eating habits and workouts as well. And the guilt trip I am on, i can’t even tell about it 😂. The rant is going too long so i will stop here. Congratulations for Spark & Spice once again. Can’t wait for the giveaway contests to try and get a signed copy of the book😍 The books in the self want a “Manita V’s” corner in it 😉. All the best for the resolutions.
Thank you, Bidisha ❤ So sweet of you. I’m touched.
It’s a great habit to read everyday and I was a voracious reader before I disrupted all my schedules. I’m trying to get back to the stuff that keeps me sane and grounded and it starts today.
Really wish it goes on smoothly 🤞
Thanks for your wishes. Wish you the same motivation and conviction for your goals too 🥰🥰
